Why MyTDB

What makes all the difference.

01

Zero data entry, data that keeps itself current

Terre de Bougies fragrances come with their data, pulled straight from our safety data sheet (SDS) database: nothing to retype, nothing to keep an eye on. Your fragrances from other suppliers sit alongside them, added by manual entry.

02

Your whole workshop, linked to your account

Recipes, test sheets, calculations and labels in one place, linked to your Terre de Bougies customer account: the fragrances you've bought are already there.

03

Terre de Bougies expertise since 2012

A team of experts, a European presence and experience going back to 2012: thousands of satisfied customers, makers and artisans alike, already create with Terre de Bougies. You'll find that know-how in every tool.

MyTDB suggests, you decide. Suggestions are based on your data and on our document database as of the date shown; checking them remains your responsibility.

Calculators

The right dosage calculations from the start, so you stop wasting batches.

Candle, wax melt, reed diffuser or Jesmonite: a rough dosage is all it takes to lose a batch. Our calculators give you a numerical starting point for every creation, to be confirmed by your own tests, and save your calculations so you can make the same batch again.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask us before getting started.

What exactly is MyTDB?+
A free online space, created by Terre de Bougies, that brings together a maker's tools: a CLP label generator, regulatory and technical documents, dosage calculators, a workshop for your recipes and test sheets, and a resource centre. For candles, wax melts, home fragrance products and Jesmonite.
Who is MyTDB for?+
For all makers: passionate hobbyists and professionals alike, whether or not you're a Terre de Bougies customer. All you need to do is create your account, free of charge.
Which countries is MyTDB designed for?+
For the European Union. MyTDB is optimised for EU countries only: labels follow the European CLP Regulation, and both the documents and the languages offered are designed for selling on the European market.
Is it really free?+
Yes. All of today's tools stay free. MyTDB will keep growing: some advanced new features will come as a premium option. See the Pricing page →
Do I need to be a Terre de Bougies customer?+
No, you don't need to buy anything. If you're already a Terre de Bougies or TDB Solution customer, use the same email address: the fragrances you've bought are already there.
Do I need to install anything?+
No. MyTDB runs right in your browser, with nothing to install: just create your account. The platform is designed to work on mobile too, but a computer is still the most comfortable way to prepare your labels and calculations.
Does MyTDB replace my customer account?+
No, it complements it. Your orders, invoices and order tracking stay on the shop. MyTDB brings together what you need to create: labels, documents, calculations, recipes.
Can I use fragrances from another supplier?+
Yes. Terre de Bougies fragrances come with their automatic data, updated along with our SDSs. Fragrances from other suppliers are added by manual entry, using their SDS: all your labels are managed in one place.
Are the generated CLP labels compliant?+
MyTDB gives you a label proposal built from up-to-date SDSs, or from your own data for other fragrances. Every statement can still be adjusted. Check it before printing: you remain responsible for placing your products on the market.
What happens when an SDS changes?+
For Terre de Bougies products, the new version automatically replaces the old one, with its update date. The rollout is gradual: if a document is missing, you can request it from the library.
In which languages?+
The platform is available in French, English, Italian, German, Spanish and Polish. Your labels can be generated in French, English, German, Spanish, Italian, Polish and Dutch, depending on the EU country where you sell.
Do my recipes and data stay private?+
Yes. Your recipes, calculations, notes and tests are private and hidden from other users.
Do the calculators replace my tests?+
No, and that's deliberate. The calculators give you a numerical starting point: quantities, wick size, proportions. Your tests remain essential, and you can save them in your workshop.
